Bound to Dominion

Technique : Mixed media technique using natural wood to sculpt a crawling, multi-legged figure; incorporating metal chains and coins as symbolic elements of dependency and wealth; and emphasizing the body’s attachment to the ground to evoke a sense of controlled stasis. The technique highlights the tension between motion and restraint, using cold, reflective materials to portray hollow domination.
