Description: Coexistence among beings is not only possible but a source of refuge. An organic composition of intertwined bodies blurs the boundary between self and other, forming a shared texture.
This sculpture captures a rare and precious moment — when the boundaries between self and other, “me” and “you,” dissolve quietly into a unified presence. The form, a cluster of intertwining wooden shapes, appears both chaotic and peaceful, as if different beings have surrendered their separateness to share space, warmth, and stillness.
It is a study in proximity — not driven by necessity or fear, but chosen intimacy. By avoiding strict symmetry or defined anatomy, the artist invites the viewer to interpret the forms freely: Are these human bodies? Creatures? Or simply shapes born from the instinct to be together?
Shelter in Coexistence gently, yet firmly, pushes back against a world of fragmentation and isolation. It does not declare a manifesto. It simply shows — coexistence is not just possible, it is essential.
